Polka Dot Pin Cushion Caddy

Between work being super busy and
all the sports I've been watching lately
my sewing and quilting time continues to be limited.

But since I'm still finding time to embroider
I decided to finally make this handy desperately needed
 Pin Cushion Caddy
The pincushion is weighted so it can be balanced
on the arm of a chair or the edge of a table.

There are several pockets for holding embroidery tools.

And finally a small bag to catch pesky little threads and
is removable for stand alone use by way of a button attachment.
A very clever pattern from Sew Mama Sew.
Oh and I used scraps from my Mint Chip Quilt so
I'll be cozy and coordinated.

Thanks for visiting.
And for more crafty fun,
I'm linking up with

Til next time,

Gorgeous. Must make one for myself. I need somewhere like that to tuck my embroidery scissors. Hugs,

Love it Wendy! SO handy, and I like this version with the little pockets - I may have to make one too!!

Hi Wendy..this looks like a great setup for sewing while sitting comfortably. I like the colours of the fabrics you've chosen too. I hope you're having a lovely week.

What a gorgeus project. I have been meaning to make something like that for nearly 10 years! Organished? Not!
ps...I have tagged you in a game of blog tag. Go to my blog cathquilts.blogspot.com.au/2012/11/ive-been-taggedonce-more to read about it. No pressure - if you don't want to play along, no worries. Just a bit of fun.
